As a family run business, we’ve always found joy in crafting beautiful spaces and memorable experiences for our loved ones. What started as styling our own family birthdays and seasonal gatherings soon grew into a full-fledged business. With every event, we pour our heart, creativity, and experience into creating something truly special for our clients.

The Heart of Velvet Rose Events
When we first began dreaming of events, my mum, my sister, and I would spend hours sharing Instagram inspiration and building Pinterest boards full of dreams. We worked instinctively together, obsessed with the challenge of turning inspiration into a tangible reality. Our goal was always to create something beautiful, deeply meaningful, and entirely unique to the occasion.
The true spark for Velvet Rose Events came while planning Lauren’s wedding. We visited several styling studios with beautiful items for hire, but when we reviewed the venue’s lookbook, we noticed a pattern: every wedding looked identical because they were all using the same standard styling kits.
Lauren has always had an eye for the unconventional. Realising that "off-the-shelf" decor made every celebration feel like a repeat of the last, we decided to break the mould. Velvet Rose Events was born from a desire to offer something truly bespoke decor that doesn't just fill a room, but tells a story.

Our objective is to weave a consistent narrative from the moment the first invitation is opened to the final cake box collected at the end of the night.
For Lauren’s wedding, we curated a whimsical and romantic journey. We used a mix of tall and short faux floral displays to elevate the room, and a signature floral arch that transitioned from the "I dos" to a stunning reception backdrop. Every piece of stationery and signage was designed to match the invites; we believe the smallest details are the secret to an event's success.

Once your date is secured with a deposit, the "magic" moves into production. While you follow your personalized planning schedule, we are behind the scenes meticulously crafting your custom backdrops, faux floral installations, and curated guest experiences. Every element is intentionally designed to ensure a cohesive and immersive environment.
Step 4: The Seamless Transformation
While you enjoy your morning with a glass of champagne or OJ, our team is on-site styling with precision and heart. We orchestrate the entire setup so that you and your guests are completely transported into your "dream day." After the celebration, we return to discreetly handle the pack-down, leaving you with nothing but perfect, effortless memories.
