Velvet Rose Events was born from a love of celebrating life’s moments, big and small. As a family run business, we’ve always found joy in crafting beautiful spaces and memorable experiences for our loved ones. What started as styling our own family birthdays and seasonal gatherings soon grew into a full-fledged business. With every event, we pour our heart, creativity, and experience into creating something truly special for our clients.

Our Story continued…

When we first started planning events, my mum, sister and I would share Instagram inspiration and create a Pinterest board full of dreams. We would work together in how to make our inspiration a reality. We always wanted to crate something beautiful, meaningful to the event and unique. When we started planning Lo’s wedding, we had visited event styling studios which had beautiful items for hire, however reviewing the lookbook of the venue, all the weddings looked the same as they used the same styling. One thing you should know about Lo is she loves to be unique, and this is how Velvet Rose Events was born.  

The main objective was to tell a story from sending out invites, to the final cake box collected at home time & everything in-between.  

We would go on to create a whimsical & romantic story throughout the wedding day. It included large faux floral table displays, a mix of tall and short to elevate the room. A faux flower arch display to be utilised for the ‘I dos’ as well as utilising the space and enhancing the stunning venue features. All the stationery and signage to match the invites; the details were important part of the days story and success.

Our Process

Step 1: Everything you’ve ever dreamed of...

Every beautiful love story starts with a dream, whether you envision a whimsical & romantic affair, an elegant royal garden celebration or a timeless black-tie event.

We invite you to bring together your ideas and inspirations, including mood boards, colour palettes, photos, or simply the feeling you want to create and share with your guests.

Step 2: Time to consult & curate…

In our inspiration session we want to know all about you & your event. We will start with your story and style. We would love to know more about your ambition for the day, this will help us quickly begin to imagine how it all comes to life visually.

We’ll craft a bespoke styling proposal tailored for your story. Mood boards, floral inspiration, tablescape and stationary ideas.

You’ll begin to get excited to see your day start to take shape in full colour and design.

Step 3: Design in detail & locking us in….

In between securing your date, to refining the details, we are busy creating your backdrops, florals, lighting, signage & guest experiences.

Every piece is intentionally styled to reflect you. This stage is all about crafting a cohesive, immersive environment.

A deposit confirms your date, and then the real magic begins.

You’ll receive a personalised planning schedule, so you know exactly what happens next.

Step 4: The Day is finally here…

While you sip champagne or OJ and prepare for your day, our team will be on-site styling with precision and love.

We will make sure it all flows beautifully so that you, and your guests, are completely transported and your special day is a story for one and all to remember.

We will be along the next day to pack up, leaving only wonderful memories behind.
